You are forgiven thinking this lovely fellow has just been discovered in an old dusty toy box hidden away in the attic, an easy mistake! This Teddy bear is an artistic imitation of a Steiff bear from yesteryear dating right back to the heydays of Steiff bears, the year of _x0091_Baerle_x0092_, who was later given the name _x0091_Teddy bear_x0092_. He exudes the charm and character Richard Steiff gifted the bears all those years ago.

He wears a period correct ear tag attached to his period correct _x0091_underscored button_x0092_ made of patinated steel, just as the 1906 original. He comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.
